Cranfield Defence developed an application to analyse helicopter flight parameters in order to identify specific conditions, calculate rate of occurrence distributions and statistical information. This is achieved by passing aircraft data through a set of parameter gates, which are each associated with specific flight conditions. The output from this application can then be compared to existing RTS or SOIU information for further analysis.
